NEET-PG 2025 to Be Conducted in a Single Shift

In a significant development, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, in W.P. No. 456/2025 (Aditi & Others vs. National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences & Others), has issued a directive concerning the conduct of the NEET-PG 2025 examination.
The Court has mandated that:
“We, accordingly, direct the respondents to make necessary arrangements for holding the NEET-PG 2025 examination in one shift, duly ensuring that complete transparency is maintained and secure centres are identified and commissioned.”
Key Updates:
- NEET-PG 2025 will now be conducted in a single shift across all centres.
- In compliance with the Supreme Court order, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is currently working to ensure secure and adequate test centre infrastructure nationwide.
- Consequently, the originally scheduled date of June 15, 2025, has been postponed.
- The revised date for NEET-PG 2025 will be announced shortly by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
Medical graduates and aspirants are advised to stay updated through official NBEMS notifications and plan their preparation accordingly.
