In a significant update regarding the conduct of the NEET PG 2025 examination, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the exam will now be held in a single shift on August 3, 2025, following the approval of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

To accommodate all candidates in a single session, the examination will be conducted across additional cities beyond those previously listed in the official information bulletin. As a result, all applicants will be required to re-submit their choice of exam city through an online application form.

Key Dates and Information:

  • Exam City Selection Window: June 13, 2025 (03:00 PM) to June 17, 2025 (11:55 PM)
  • Edit Window (excluding Name, Category, Nationality, Email, Mobile No., and Exam City): June 20 to June 22, 2025
  • Exam City Allotment Notification: July 21, 2025
  • Admit Card Release: July 31, 2025
  • Date of Examination: August 3, 2025 (09:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
  • Result Declaration: By September 3, 2025

The selection of the exam city will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the availability of cities will be shown in real-time during the application process.

Candidates should note that if a preferred city is unavailable, they may select the “OTHERS” option under State/UT preferences. NBEMS will attempt to allot a center within the candidate’s correspondence state, but in the event of seat unavailability, a center in another state may be assigned. NBEMS retains the authority to add or remove cities based on logistical or administrative considerations.

Candidates are advised to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation, and to closely monitor official NBEMS communications for updates regarding the exam.

This development marks a major logistical shift in NEET-PG 2025, aimed at enhancing standardization and fairness in the examination process.
